Pete Stankevich
Pete is the men’s and women’s coach at the University of Hartford and as a player, he was a member of their NCAA D1 District 1 and New England Intercollegiate Championship teamsthat included future PGA Tour members Jerry Kelly, Tim Petrovic and Patrick Sheehan.He was also the PGA Director of Instruction and Teaching Professional at Golf Quest in Brookfield for over 25 years where he taught thousands of students of all ages in private lessons, groups, clinics, and camps and established Park and Rec programs for 8 towns in the surrounding area.
Pete’s Philosophy: Pete’s uncomplicated approach to teaching golf allows students of all skill levels to reach their playing potential, from beginners to tour professionals. With the help of video, technology, training aids, or drills, Pete can develop a program to meet each student’s individual needs and have them on their way to playing their best golf.

Competed in NCAA D1 Championships as both a player and as a coach at University of Hartford
Coach of Men’s Big Sky Conference Individual Champion and Player of the Year and Women’s MAAC Conference Champion, as well as Freshman of the Year in both conferences.
16 Academic All-Americans, 5 State Amateur Champions, New England Amateur Champion
